Offset Brings Flowers to Walmart, and the Comments Brought the Jokes

Some folks go to Walmart for paper towels. Offset went with an armful of flowers. On Wednesday, October 21, the Atlanta rapper walked the aisles surprising women shoppers and store workers with bouquets, giving each one a few kind words along with the petals. He posted the clip on Instagram with "Every Night," his recent record with Don Toliver, playing underneath, and a caption about how every woman deserves to be celebrated, day and night. It's all part of the lead-up to his upcoming album, GMFU.

The response was split. Some people loved seeing a man take time to make strangers feel appreciated in the middle of a regular shopping run. Others had jokes, with one fan warning that "Offset finna snatch our grandmas." And of course, Cardi B's loyal fan base showed up asking why the flowers weren't headed to the mother of his three children instead.

Flowers have always been Offset's love language. Back in 2018, he famously walked onstage during Cardi's Rolling Loud set with a $15,000 floral display asking her to take him back. This time, the gesture was smaller and spread around, but the message was the same: a little romance goes a long way. Now we'll see if GMFU carries that same energy. Until then, keep it smooth with us. Listen live at redcuprnb.com.
