Soulja Boy has never been one to think small, and now he's aiming about as high as it gets. On Saturday, the "Crank That" rapper posted "SOULJA BOY 2028" on Instagram, calling it a new chapter and "a bigger vision." He says he's exploring what it would mean to take the same mindset he brought to music, business and tech into public service.
He named four things he'd focus on: economic opportunity, criminal justice reform, education, and the future of technology and AI. Beyond that, there's no platform or plan yet, and no word on whether he'll actually launch a campaign or is just testing the waters. Before anybody laughs it off, remember this is the man who was marketing himself online before most labels even had an internet plan. He'll be 38 by election day, so he clears the age requirement on paper. Getting from an Instagram post to a ballot is a whole different ballgame, though. For now, we'll believe it when we see the yard signs.
