Snoh Aalegra, Lucky Daye & Jawan Bring New R&B to Your Weekend

R&B family, there’s something fresh for your weekend rotation. Snoh Aalegra returns with “Karma,” her first single in three years, exploring a connection that feels bigger than one lifetime. Lucky Daye stretches out on his new album, ALOUD!, with guests including Leon Thomas and Muni Long. Meanwhile, Jawan puts a familiar Southern favorite back in the conversation, drawing from OutKast’s “So Fresh, So Clean” on “Fresher Than Us.” (ratedrnb.com)

There’s more for the grown-folks playlist, too. Eric Benét brings romance with “Heaven,” Nao explores change on Autumn, and Cedric Brazle works through love and heartbreak on Cologne, Vol. 1. Rounding out the releases are Chlöe, Timbaland and Monaleo’s “Main Attraction (Remix),” Gabriel Jacoby’s “Let’s Talk About It,” B2K’s “Lil Freak” and Sammie’s “Goyard.” That gives you a little room for everything: quiet time, relationship conversations and getting ready to step out.
